Susan Erstling from Lucy's Hearth, an emergency and transitional shelter
for mothers and their children which is located in Middletown, visited
us on Sunday and gave an informative and inspirational talk on the
services that the shelter provides. She was very generous in expressing
her appreciation for the support that the Episcopal Charities of RI
provides to Lucy's. After Susan's talk, Jeffrey Reise, our Episcopal Charities coordinator, reminded us that this
year's Episcopal Charities Drive was about to get underway. For more
